2020 (Senior)
Played the first 10 games of the season on the back line…started in goal the final games of the season…had a season-high 10 saves at Michigan on Apr. 17.
2019 (Junior)
Big Ten Distinguished Scholar...selected to the Academic All-Big Ten squad… landed on the Big Ten Preseason Watch List… started every game that she appeared in… recorded a shutout at Saint Louis (9/13)…aided in the victory over No. 24 Michigan State (9/20)… made a season-high 13 saves against Ohio State (9/29).
2018 (Sophomore)
Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors… played a total of 692 minutes and eight seconds in goal for the cream & crimson… played in all 14 games this season including 12 starts… had a career high nine saves against Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament (10/26)… recorded a career high minutes of 75 minutes and 57 second in the Big Ten Tournament… added to career highs by seeing 25 shots saved at Michigan (10/26)… saw three shutouts; against Ball State (8/26), Michigan State (10/5), and Saint Louis (10/7).
2017 (Freshman)
NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad (Scholar of Distinction) … made four appearances with seven saves in 38:34 between the posts … stepped on the turf for the first time in her career against No. 3 Delaware (8/26), blocking five shots in 15 minutes ... entered the game against Central Michigan (9/8) to provide two precise saves ... also logged time in Indiana’s home games against Michigan State (10/15) and Penn State (10/22).
Made the final roster for Chile at the 2016 FIH Junior World Cup in her home town of Santiago … one of the four youngest players selected to the team … appeared in their final game against Belgium, making three shootout saves for a 2-2 (1-3) victory … Chile finished 11th in the tournament.
Prep/Personal
The first player from Chile in IU Field Hockey history, Sachi Ananias split time as a goalkeeper in Chile’s youth national pool and for head coach Isidora Maira at The Grange School … has played at the U14, U16, U18, and U21 levels for Chile … served as team captain for The Grange School … received the Full Colour Hockey Award in her final two seasons, given annually to the school’s top all-around athlete … received an invite to the Association of British Schools in Chile (ABSCH) dream team, winning the seven-a-side tournament title in 2014 and 2015 … also captained the school’s volleyball team and played soccer … a top honors student … born December 3, 1998 ... the daughter of Izumi Kishino and Octavio Ananias … has two brothers, Tomas and Diego … majoring in Information Systems, Operations Management & International Business.
