Played in a career high 49 games with 15 starts … scored eight runs and added seven hits … drove in four runs and drew six walks … picked up a hit and run in IU’s win against St. Mary’s on Feb. 12 … collected a hit in three straight contests on Feb. 17-18 … singled and scored a run against Fresno State on March 3 … doubled and scored versus UIC on March 18 … had a two-run double against UIC on March 19 … drove in a run against Rutgers on March 24
JUNIOR YEAR (2016)
Played in 27 games with five starts in the outfield … collected a hit against Utah State (Feb. 13), Texas A&M (Feb. 27) and Western Illinois (March 20) … scored a run and drew a walk against Georgia State (March 4) and Iowa (March 27)
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2015)
Made six starts and appeared in 24 games in the roles of pinch hitter, designated player and outfield … posted a batting average .163 higher than her freshman campaign, hitting .273 with nine hits, four runs and an RBI … scored the go-ahead run for Indiana in an 8-7 win against Utah Valley on Feb. 13 … her RBI against New Mexico on Feb. 14 tied the game at 8-8 in the top of the seventh inning … recorded a three-game hitting streak from April 18 (at Michigan) to April 21 (at Ball State) … for the second straight season, registered a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage
FRESHMAN YEAR (2014)
Appeared in 32 games, including 17 starts ... split time between outfield, designated player and pinch runner ... recorded five hits, eight runs and six RBI ... hit a grand slam in just the second game of the year against Portland State on Feb. 7 ... scored a run in three straight contests, including against Toledo (March 14), Wright State (March 15) and Illinois-Chicago (March 15) ... had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage
PREP/PERSONAL: Played for head coach Marty Sticklett at Wheat Ridge (Colo.) High School...named 2012 Class 4A Player of the Year by the Denver Post...a four-time first team all-region selection and all-conference selection...earned all-state accolades in 2010, 2011 and 2012 campaigns...was named to the All-Colorado team by the Denver Post in 2011 and 2012...helped lead Wheat Ridge to two 4A State Championships and two final four appearances in postseason play...hit safely above .500 for the past three seasons highlighted by an impressive .633 batting average in 2012...was flawless defensively throughout the 2012 season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in centerfield...played travel ball for the Colorado Styxx...is the daughter of Tim and Kaaren Mathewson...has two sisters, Lara and Molly.
