Alford (Navy) … entered the Cleveland State Open (12/17) … entered the top three on the Alma Open (1/21) podium, rebounding from a second round loss to win his last four matches with bonus points … earned three consecutive technical falls, conceding just two points, on his way to the consolation final … won the third place match by major decision over Clayton Davidson (Ohio Northern) … ended the season with a fourth-place finish in the 174 lbs. bracket at the Greyhound Open (2/5) … started the open with a first period pin (1:39), and then a decision win to enter the semifinals.
