2018-19 (Redshirt junior): Finished the season with a 13-10 overall record and 3-5 mark in dual match competition…sixth-place at the Navy Classic…fourth-place at the Cleveland State Open.
2017-18 (Redshirt Sophomore): Finished with an overall record of 13-19 and 6-10 in dual matches…fourth-place at the Navy Classic…one TF and five pins on the season…two ranked wins, against #17 Anthony Tutolo of Kent State, 4-2 in SV at the Navy Classic and a 2-1 decision over #223 Noah Gonser of Eastern Michigan at the IU Duals.
2016-17 (Redshirt Freshman – 133 lbs.)
Finished in third-place at the Navy Classic … earned a 10-14 record in his first varsity season, picking up bonus points in five wins … scored his first varsity victory over Nate Cervantez (San Francisco State, 11/3) … started a stellar weekend out east with a first period pin over Lio Quezzada (George Mason, 11/17) … battled through the consolation bracket for a third-place finish at the Navy Classic (11/19), clinching the podium spot with a major decision over Albert Landeros (North Dakota State) … won his first career Big Ten match in the conference opener against Wisconsin (12/9), a 14-3 major decision over Eli Stickley … won by fall against Terrell Grant (Cleveland State) on a 2-0 day at the Eastern Michigan tri (12/11).
2015-16 (Redshirt)
Achieved third-place at the Alma Open ... also finished in eighth-place at the Michigan State Open ... began his collegiate career with a 14-10 record as an unattached redshirt … tallied four major decisions, one tech fall, and five pins … opened the season with a 3-2 outing at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/7), opening with a major decision win over Patrick Blommel (Michigan State) before falling, 5-0, to No. 5 Johnni DiJulius (Ohio State) … finished in the wrestle-backs with a 44-second pin and a major decision win … earned a podium finish at eighth-place in the MSU Open (11/15), going 2-3 with a crucial 8-3 decision over Michael Cullen (Wisconsin) to land on the podium … pinned Thorin Wilson (Southwestern Oregon) in 1:50 to spark an outstanding 4-2 day at the Reno Tournament of Champions (12/20) … followed the pin with a 6-2 decision win before bowing out of championship contention in the quarterfinal, closed with a 1:19 pin and a major decision over Ronnie Stevens (Oregon State) … lost both matches at Midlands (12/29) … took third place at the Alma Open (1/23) with a 5-1 record, picking up bonus points in four matches … pinned Dom Paterra (Adrian) in the opening round before falling in the quarterfinal, and proceeded to win his next four bouts, finishing with a 5-0 win over De’Ante Evens (Defiance).
