Question: A student-athlete has been invited to compete for the US National Team in the World Cup Championships in September. Is this permissible?
Answer: Yes, just be sure before a student-athlete competes in ANY outside competition (including unattached competition), that you get written permission from the compliance office per Big Ten Rules 14.7.A and 17.02.9.
