Can a coach hand deliver the National Letter of Intent (NLI) to a prospect while on IU's campus?
Answer:
Yes. NCAA Bylaw 13.1.6.2.1 specifically prohibits in-person, OFF-campus delivery of the National Letter of Intent. However, the NLI may be hand delivered to a prospect who is ON IU's campus, provided it is not during a DEAD period, and the prospect may only sign an NLI during a permissible signing period.
