Question:
Is it ever permissible to call or contact a prospect during their junior year in high school? If yes, when?
Answer:
YES!
For sports other than football, it is now permissible to make a telephone call to a prospect or the prospect's relatives or legal guardians during MARCH of the prospect's junior year in high school. Further, it is also permissible to make one-person, off-campus contact with a prospect or the prospect's relatives or legal guardians on the prospect's high-school campus during APRIL of the prospect's junior year in high school. Make sure your sport is in a permissible contact period!
Football: one phone call may be made during the month of MAY of the prospect's junior year in high school. No contact may be made with juniors.
