Question:May a student-athlete receive apparel or equipment for practice and competition that has not been inventoried and disbursed through the IU athletics equipment room?
Answer:N o. In accordance with institutional policies and NCAA legislation, all apparel and equipment that is provided to IU student-athletes must be inventoried and disbursed by the IU athletics equipment room staff. Additionally, all apparel and equipment orders must have the approval of Marty Clark prior to being processed, even if the item is being purchased using an account other than the sport or equipment budget (e.g. foundation account).
