Question:Under what circumstances is it permissible to use express mail delivery services to send recruiting materials listed in bylaw 13.4.1 to prospects and their coaches who reside within the 50 United States?
Answer:None. Effective August 1, 2004, it is not permissible to use any type express mail delivery service to provide permissible recruiting materials listed in bylaw 13.4.1 to prospects, their coaches, or any other individual responsible for teaching or directing an activity in which a prospect is involved who reside within the 50 United States.Y ou may only use first class mail or a lesser rate of service (e.g. parcel post) with no extra services (e.g. certified mail, delivery confirmation).T he National Letter of Intent or other written admissions and/or financial aid commitments may be sent using express mail delivery services.E xpress mail delivery services may be used when sending recruiting materials listed in 13.4.1 to international prospects who reside outside of the 50 United States.
