Institutional Promotion Involving Tea Bags: Reviewed Bylaw 12.5.1 (permissible promotional activities) and 02/09/89 LIC, Item No. 9, in regard to an institution that wishes to conduct a promotion at its home basketball contest by distributing tea bags to the general public with a student-athlete's nickname printed on the bags (e.g., the letter "T"); determined that such an arrangement is not precluded provided the tea bags do not have a sponsoring company's trademark or logo.
