Compliance Question Of The Week
Compliance Question Of The Week
Question:
I'm getting ready to plan my camps for next year. What do I do?
Answer:
Have the camp itself, camp dates and all materials (brochures, fliers, website ads) approved by Compliance before proceeding. Forms for this stuff are on the U:Drive. Ryan in our office will be handling the paperwork. Get your facilities reserved about this time too. Remember that if you're doing "off-site" camps and you use your name/program to promote it, then it's YOUR camp and paperwork is needed. New NCAA interp says we can't have "Elite" camps anymore, and that we can't use that word or other, similar ones. Camps have to be open to all and everyone. Keep an account of your all transactions for your camp reports, including and especially equipment. Otherwise, it's all about the $$! Where does it come from and where does it go?!
