Compliance Question Of The Week
Compliance Question Of The Week
Question:
I'm working out in the airplane hangar in the NEZ and my team is playing/running on their own (i.e. voluntarily) in the stadium. Should I be watching? What if I have team members doing voluntary workouts in the same place as my sweatfest? Just `cos it's so big I can't actually see them, does that make it OK?
Answer:
Clearly, none of this is permissible. Coaches and DoBO's, etc. may not witness voluntary activity at any time - other than for safety exception sports (wrestling, rowing, swimming+diving, water polo and field events/hurdling/steeplechase in track). Please don't work out in the presence (or `eyeshot'!) of your athletes who are voluntarily working out anywhere. I think we can concede that it IS OK for a coach in one sport to work out when athletes from other sports are in there, but please be circumspect about this.
There is more specific information avaliable concerning this upon request
