Guided Tours of Memorial Stadium and Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall
Indiana University Athletics offers guided tours of Memorial Stadium and/or Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday’s. Tours feature exclusive behind-the-scenes special access to Indiana University team training facilities, meeting rooms, premium seat areas, media and broadcasting areas, locker rooms, and student athlete wellness and educational spaces. Tour participants also have the opportunity to spend time on the historic playing surfaces of both venues where Hoosier greats have led Indiana Football and Basketball teams to legendary victories! Fans are permitted to take photos throughout the tours and in most locations. Professional photos are not permitted on a tour. However, private photo sessions can be scheduled (but are subject to a facility fee). Please note weekly team practices, workouts, and some special events can impact tour access at times. Not surprisingly, team related activities can be unpredictable during the course of a sports season. Tour organizers will advise tour participants of any tour restrictions before you arrive, and tour guides will adapt tours to any last-minute changes so tour groups are able to see as many special areas of the stadium and/or arena as possible.
Stadium and arena tours do require a moderate amount of walking from place-to-place inside the venues. To ensure all members of a group enjoy the tour, please contact Grace Cline at gacline@iu.edu, IU Athletics tours coordinator, with reasonable accommodation requests or inquiries, such as an ASL interpreter, wheelchair, and visual aids. IU Athletics will make all arrangements for these services. While we will do our best to honor last-minute requests, we always appreciate as much advanced notice as possible. IU Athletics is committed to providing a high-level tour experience for everyone. Discounted rates are available for approved non-profit organizations, schools, current IU students, and Indiana University departments and offices. Please schedule tours at least one-week in advance of your desired tour date. Credit card payments are due at least three days prior to the scheduled group tour date. Upon request invoices can be sent to the group contact. In the event a cancellation is needed by a tour group, we do require the group to provide a 48-hour notice. Refunds will not be issued for groups that fail to report on their scheduled date and time. Because tour areas include premium and team spaces, we ask tour participants to refrain from consuming food and beverages during group tours.
