Tour Facilities
Cook Hall: Located in close proximity to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, it serves as the daily headquarters for the men's and women's basketball programs, providing them with a state-of-the-art venue in which to practice, train and condition. The 67,000-square-foot, locker rooms, player lounges, a strength and conditioning area, coaches' offices, meeting/video rooms, and multilevel facility features practice courts, including two regulation-size basketball courts allowing access 24 hours a day.
A shared athletic training suite features state-of-the-art hydrotherapy equipment and video analysis system to promote the health and recovery of our student-athletes. Cook Hall boasts comprehensive, cutting-edge digital technologies to streamline operations and enhance instruction and training of student-athletes.
Cook Hall is also home to the Pfau Shine Legacy Court, a unique museum/exhibit space that chronicles the history of Indiana basketball with photographs, artifacts, trophies and interactive touch-screen kiosks that celebrate IU's championship teams and basketball traditions. In a partnership with the Indianapolis Star, one of the interactive displays features a former player database. On game days during football and basketball seasons, public hours for Pfau-Shine Legacy Court will vary depending on use of the facility for team needs.
Cook Hall was made possible through generous commitments to the "For the Glory of Old IU" campaign, the first comprehensive capital campaign by the IU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The goal of this five-year campaign is $80 million in private support for new and improved athletic and academic facilities, endowment, and ongoing annual support of student-athlete scholarships.
Cook Hall was formally dedicated on Sunday, April 25, 2010.
Memorial Stadium: With its two bold towers and expansive seating bowl, this 138,000-square-foot, multi-purpose facility has become a visible landmark on the IU Bloomington campus. As the headquarters of Indiana Football, it represents a commitment to elevating IU Football with training facilities, staff and administrative offices, position meeting rooms, a team auditorium and an underground walkway to practice fields.
In front of the entrance to the North End Zone, George Taliaferro Plaza features brick pavers that can be personalized with individual and company names, dates, and special messages. The engraved bricks are a way to recognize and honor families, alumni, and special IU memories. Each brick will be permanently displayed on the walkway of George Taliaferro Plaza. IU alumni and fans can also order commemorative replicas of their brick to keep for themselves or to give as gifts.
The North End Zone Student-Athlete Development Center serves as a gateway to Indiana University for fans and visitors. Enhancing the game-day atmosphere on football Saturdays, this addition converts Memorial Stadium into a horseshoe layout connecting the East and West stands, complete with a new seating bowl, concourse, concession stand, and outdoor club area. The Hoosier Football program enjoys the spacious new position and staff meeting rooms and a team auditorium, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Each position room provides players with the resources they need not just for position meetings, but also for individual film review at any time.
It is also home to the Henke Hall of Champions, a multi-level entertainment space featuring beautiful hardwood floors, stunning wooden arches, floor-to-ceiling windows, and museum-quality displays. This unique banquet facility will enable Hoosier fans to gather for special events and to celebrate the past, present, and future of IU Athletics. Additionally, the North End Zone houses the offices for IU's Athletics Administration.

Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall: opened as Assembly Hall during the 1971-72 season and Branch McCracken Court was dedicated on December 18, 1971. Since then, millions of fans have attended Indiana basketball games. Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall holds 17,222 fans and is consistently sold out throughout the regular Men's Basketball season.
Three national championship teams have called the stadium home. The home crowd is definitely a factor in the outcome of Indiana's games as the Hoosiers have posted winning streaks of 50 and 35 games over the years. Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall is also home to the largest student sections in the country.
In December 2013, IU Athletics announced a $40 million gift — the largest in its history — from IU alumna Cindy Simon Skjodt to provide much needed renovations to Assembly Hall and launch IU Athletics' capital campaign. In recognition of the gift, Assembly Hall was renamed Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and was re-opened and dedicated on October 14, 2016.
