Former club team member was invited to join the varsity club midway through the season ... appeared in six games out of the bullpen, notching a 6.14 ERA with seven hits allowed in 7 1/3 frames ... made his Hoosier debut with two solid innings at Valparaiso (4/13) ... tossed a strong 1 2/3 at Miami (4/20), striking out the side in the seventh ... surrendered just one walk in 1 1/3 frames against Indiana State (4/28).
