Roger Rodeheaver enters his seventh season in 2018 as a member of the Hoosier Baseball staff and his fifth year as the Director of Baseball Operations.
As the Director of Baseball Operations, Rodeheaver is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, travel coordination and video breakdown; amongst other general program operations.
Prior to his operations role, Rodeheaver served as the program’s volunteer assistant coach in 2012 and 2013. He worked extensively with the outfielders and served as the first base coach during his time in the coaching position. Rodeheaver also assumed travel coordination duties for the 2013 campaign, the year the Hoosiers made the College World Series.
As a Hoosier student-athlete, Rodeheaver posted a career batting average of .316 while cranking out 21 homeruns, 115 RBI and 33 doubles. He was drafted in the 36th Round by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1998. Rodeheaver went on to play three seasons of professional ball.
Prior to his return to Indiana, Rodeheaver spent the 2011 season at Bloomington High School North as a varsity assistant and head JV coach.
Rodeheaver earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana University.
Roger and his wife, Amy, reside in Bloomington with their three-year old son, Nolan. Amy is a Reading Instructor for the Monroe County Community School Corporation.
