Played in 10 games for the Hoosiers … held a .400 batting average in five at-bats … hit a double and recorded a stolen base in the win against Prairie View A&M (2/10) … recorded a hit against Northwestern State (3/18) … scored a run in the win over Pitt (2/10) … batted in one runner with a sac fly against Memphis (3/17).
JUNIOR (2022)
Played in 38 games and started six games for the Hoosiers in the 2022 season … seven runs scored, seven hits, two doubles, one home run, six RBI and two stolen bases on the season … hit home run in win over Ohio University (3/11) in tournament at Louisville.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2021)
• Academic All-Big Ten
Made 12 starts and 32 appearances in the 2021 season … four runs, four hits, two RBI.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2020)
Played in 19 games making starts in 17 of them primarily at catcher and designated player … registered nine hits, eight RBI’s and eight runs … led all freshmen in home runs with three … had her first career hit and home run for Indiana on Feb. 8 against St. John’s … she hit two-run homers in two straight games on Feb. 16 against Syracuse and on Feb. 21 against Bucknell … had 63 total put-outs on the year with no errors.
Batted .547 with 35 hits, 23 runs and 21 RBI in her senior season to earn Athlete of the Year honors … a three-time All-Avocado West League selection … winner of back-to-back Silver Slugger Awards … also named to the All-CIF Softball First Team in her senior and junior seasons … in her junior campaign, batted .531 with a 1.093 slugging percentage, 34 hits, 25 runs, 31 RBI and nine home runs … member of the National Honor Society, the All-Academic Team and the American Sign Language Club … also played basketball in high school … played travelball for Epoch Softball … daughter of Melissa Dufek, her uncle Jeff Dufek pitched at San Diego State and remains involved in baseball showcases in California … majoring in Exercise Science
