Season: Played in three games during his debut season – all as a pinch hitter … didn’t appear in a game until the final month of the season … first career at-bat came in the ninth inning at Northwestern (5/2) … was inserted into the game in a similar spot the next day against the Wildcats (5/3) … final at-bat of the year came in extra innings against Illinois (5/15) … also traveled the whole season as the team’s bullpen catcher on the road.
