Awards: Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Season: Made 28 appearances with 21 starts during his sophomore campaign … started the first 14 games of the season at second base … began the year as the team’s cleanup hitter … hit .179 on the season with three home runs, nine runs scored, 14 base hits and 18 RBIs … walked 15 times in his limited playing time … had two multi-hit games and provided five multi-RBI outings … had at least three RBIs in two of the first five games of the season … collected at least one hit in 12 different games … hit a game-tying home run against Xavier (2/15) in the bottom of the ninth inning on opening weekend … had three RBIs in a win over Fordham (2/22) … provided go-ahead home run against Indiana State (4/15) in midweek start … received a start at third base in the Big Ten Tournament and recorded a hit and RBI against Iowa (5/22).
