Selected by the Chicago White Sox (23^rd Round, Pick 680) in the 2019 MLB Draft … Academic All-Big Ten … Made 16 starts for the Hoosiers, posting a record of 8-6 with an ERA of 3.95 … Struck out 100 batters in 107 innings pitched … His 100 strikeouts ranked sixth on IU’s single-season list, while his 107 IP rank third in program history … Allowed just two hits, striking out seven in seven shutout innings of work in victory at Memphis (2/16) … Tossed eight scoreless innings to earn the win against Washington (3/8), surrendering just one hit while striking out six … Struck out a season-best 10 batters, allowing just one earned run in 8.1 innings of work against Iowa (3/22).

Appeared in 14 games, making two starts on the mound during rookie campaign … Posted a 4-1 record to go along with a 3.38 ERA, allowing 24 hits in 26.2 innings, striking out 27 and walking 12 … In first career start against Toledo (3/20), hurled five innings of shutout ball with three strikeouts and no walks while allowing two hits to pick up the win … Struck out five while allowing no earned runs in four innings of relief against Cincinnati (3/29) … Tossed an inning of relief at Rutgers (4/2) to pick up victory No. 2…At Cincinnati (4/6), struck out three in two innings of relief, earning the win … Also tallied a victory in relief against Purdue (4/10).
