Austin Fitzpatrick joined the IU Sports Medicine staff in January 2026, providing care to the baseball program.
Prior to arriving in Bloomington, Fitzpatrick worked as the senior athletic trainer for baseball at the University of Memphis during the 2025 season. He also previously worked at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with the baseball and cross country programs from 2022-2024. Fitzpatrick began his career as the fellow athletic trainer for baseball at Mississippi State, where he was a part of their 2021 national championship season.
Originally from Wisconsin, Fitzpatrick graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2018 and a Master’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2020.
Austin resides in Bloomington with his rescue dog, Sadie.
