2025 (Sophomore Season)
Awards: Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Season: Played in 36 games with 29 starts – all at catcher … started the most games (29) behind the dish on the team … hit .250 during his sophomore campaign with 22 hits, 15 runs scored and 17 RBIs … provided his first two career home runs – one of 15 player to hit a long ball on the season … threw out 11 runners trying to steal … fielded at a .987 clip with just three errors in over 220 chances … had six multi-hit games and five multi-RBI outings … made season debut as defensive replacement against Xavier (2/15) … first start of the season came vs. No. 7 Oregon State (2/16) … recorded first career hit – in walk off fashion – as pinch hitter against Northwestern (2/24) … hit the first home run of his career against Penn State (3/7) … provided three separate three-RBI efforts against Mount St. Mary’s (2/28), Northern Kentucky (3/4) and Abilene Christian (5/4) … had clutch home run and the eventual game-winning hit to secure series sweep at Abilene Christian (5/4) … had a hit in his final start of the campaign at Michigan (5/17).
