2016 – JUNIOR
Became the first Hoosier to be named to the 2016 Rawlings Gold Glove Team taking the honor at the second base position…Did not make an entire error the 2016 season, recording 77 putouts and 126 assists (203 chances)…Played in 47 games, making 44 starts for the Hoosiers…Collected 33 hits on the year, including four doubles and three home runs to go along with 13 RBI…Was also 2-for-2 on stolen bases…Recorded a hit in three of his first four games as a Hoosier…Opened up the month of March with a six-game hitting streak…In the rubber game of a three-game set against Indiana State (3/27), belted a two-run walk-off home run in the ninth inning to give IU a 5-3 win…Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a double in a midweek victory at Cincinnati (4/6)…Hit his second homer of the season in a Friday night win over Iowa (4/15), as he went 2-for-2 with a run scored…Followed that up with his third round tripper two days later against the Hawkeyes…After recording four hits in the Northwestern series, continued his strong offensive stretch with a 3-for-4 effort in the Friday night victory at Minnesota (5/6), scoring twice…Recorded an RBI and two runs scored the following day against the Golden Gophers while also stealing a base.
2015 – SOPHOMORE (MADISON JUNIOR COLLEGE)
Hit .356 with seven doubles, three triples and 31 RBI … walked 18 times, posting a .454 on-base percentage while stealing 12 bases … was an NJCAA Division II All-North Central Region IV Gold Glove Defensive Player of the Year … also was an NJCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove National Finalist.
2014 – FRESHMAN (VIRGINIA)
Made nine appearances, including one start (March 30 at second base vs. Virginia Tech) … drove in run in win over Virginia Tech (3/30) … picked up first career hit, a single, in seventh inning against William & Mary (4/16) … singled and scored in win over Richmond (4/23)
HIGH SCHOOL
Named First-Team All-State in 2012 (junior season) … did not play his senior season after suffering injury in scrimmage before season … three-time all-conference and all-region honoree … holds Sun Prairie single-season records in runs batting (.521), hits (49), runs (43), singles (34) and OBP (.628) … hit .521 with two homers, eight doubles, five triples and 18 stolen bases during junior season … three-year team captain and two-time team MVP and Gold Glove winner … named All-State Academic his junior year … was honorable mention all-state honoree in 2011 as sophomore … coached by Rob Hamilton.
