PREP/PERSONAL: Was named Most Valuable Defensive Player at MICDS after earning first team all-conference and all-metro honors as a team captain her senior year ... was the leading goal scorer for her team in 2007 and 2008, earning back-to-back Most Valuable Offensive Player honors ... also named first team all-conference and second team all-metro as a junior, and second team all-conference and all-metro as a sophomore ... helped MICDS to a 2009 Midwest Championship, after earning a trip to the quarterfinals in 2008 and the semifinals in 2007 ... also a member of the National Futures Region 10 U-19 Team in 2008 and 2009, and a member of the National Futures Region 10 U-16 Team in 2007 ... played in the Field Hockey Festival between 2006-09 ... and also played for Team Gateway U-16 (2005-07) and U-19 (2007-10) ... was a member of the track and field team as a senior ... born June 28, 1991 ... daughter of Howard and Kate Stephens ... has two sisters, Eloise (15) and Elizabeth (21) ... intends to major in Journalism.
