• Demarcus Ayers is in his first year at Indiana as an offensive graduate assistant.
• Former wide receiver was selected in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
• Played for the New England Patriots (2017) and the Chicago Bears (2018).
• Spent the 2019 season in the XFL with the San Antonio Commanders and New York Guardians.
• Began his coaching career as an assistant wide receivers coach at Lancaster (Texas) High School from 2019-2021.
• Worked as a quality control assistant at the University of New Mexico during the 2021 campaign.
• All-conference wideout and kick returner at the University of Houston from 2013-15.
• Finished his career third in program history with 1,163 kick return yards and 11th with 3,763 total yards.
• A member of the UH’s all-decade team, Reese is eighth in school single-season history with 98 catches and ninth with 1,222 yards.
• Holds the American Athletic Conference record for single-game punt return yardage with 175.
• Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health.
