• Maurey Bland is in his first season as director of on-campus recruiting for the Indiana football program.
• Arrives in Bloomington after one year as a graduate assistant with Auburn University’s women’s basketball team.
• Served as the first ever chief of staff for Austin Peay State University Football prior to his campaign at Auburn.
• The youngest chief of staff in the FCS assisted with the team’s budget, travel, fundraising campaigns, and special events, and he worked closely with senior administration.
• Graduated from Mississippi State University with a kinesiology degree in 2018.
• A student assistant coach with the Bulldogs defensive and recruiting staffs.
• Currently working on a master’s degree in education at Indiana University.
• Lettered in football and powerlifting at Madison Central High School in Madison, Miss.
• Member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
