• Mike Doig is in his seventh season as Indiana’s director of football operations.
• Came to Bloomington after four seasons as athletic director and head boys basketball coach at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. The team reached the state semifinals from 2015-17.
• Grace’s athletic programs developed into state powers in football (semifinals; 2013-14), women’s soccer (quarterfinals; 2016), baseball (finalists, 2014-17; champions, 2016), golf, softball (runner-up, 2014-15), volleyball (tournament; 2013-15), tennis, cross country, and track, including a state champion in the discus (2014-15).
• Served as athletic director at St. Catharine College in Springfield, Kentucky, from 2008-13. Under Doig’s leadership, the department doubled its number of programs to 22.
• Generated $8.2 million in revenue and administered a $3.2 million athletic budget. Several programs advanced to the NAIA National Tournament, highlighted by baseball and softball winning national championships.
• Athletic director and head men’s basketball coach at Whitefield Academy in Louisville from 2003-08. Whitefield finished as a regional runner-up in 2005 and 2007.
• Directed basketball camps in Morocco for coaches and students in 2007 and 2008, and a developmental/evaluation camp in Shanghai through adidas and 2016 Olympian Lui Wei in 2008.
• In 2002-03, he worked as the associate boys basketball coach at Tug Valley (W.Va.) High School. The program captured a regional championship and advanced to the Final Four.
• During the same season, Doig oversaw basketball clinics at Sports City U Basketball Academy in Huntington, West Virginia, and ran the Sports City U AAU program, which captured the 13U and 18U West Virginia state AAU championships.
• An assistant men’s basketball coach at Liberty University during the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons.
• At Highview Baptist High School in Louisville, Doig was the assistant athletic director and head men’s basketball coach from 1997-2000.
• Runner-up Region 7 Coach of the Year in 2000 after the team finished second in the state. Highview earned three-straight Region 7 championships under his stewardship.
• Head men’s basketball coach and athletic director from 1995-97 at Jupiter Christian High School in Palm Beach, Florida. The two-time conference coach of the year led Jupiter to back-to-back league championships in 1996 and 1997.
• Began his career as an assistant boys basketball and football assistant coach at Temple Heights High School in Tampa from 1993-95.
• Starred on the basketball court and soccer field at Clearwater (Fla.) Christian College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
• A two-time basketball All-American (1992-93), Doig also collected All-America laurels in soccer and was second in total votes for the 1992 NCCAA National Player of the Year. He finished runner-up for the 1993 NCCAA Pete Maravich National Player of the Year.
• Mike and his wife, Wendy, have one daughter, Kaylee (25), and one son, Cody (21), was a basketball letterwinner on IU Southeast's men’s basketball team.
