• Ryan Hansen is in his fourth year with the Indiana football program and his second as director of player personnel after two seasons as director of on-campus recruiting.
• In addition to coordinating official and unofficial visit plans, Hansen contributes to player evaluations, signee on-boarding tasks for compliance and admissions, and gameday personnel operations.
• Spent four campaigns (2016-19) at Upper Iowa University as wide receivers/tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator.
• Served as co-offensive coordinator, director of player development, and wide receivers coach at Maryville (Tenn.) College in 2015.
• Began his coaching career at Quincy (Ill.) University as wide receivers coach (1999-2000) before he mentored running backs and coordinated special teams at Murray State University (2000-05).
• From 2006-08, he was offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator during his first stint at Maryville.
• Worked six seasons (2009-15) as a scout and consultant for the Dike-New Hartford High School football program in Dike, Iowa.
• Earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1997, where he played football and earned three letters.
• Received his master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from Murray State in 2001.
