• Seth McDonald is in his first season at Indiana as a defensive graduate assistant.
• Served as a graduate assistant and worked with the linebackers in 2019 at Jacksonville State University and in 2018 at Robert Morris University.
• Played two years (2014-15) for IU defensive coordinator Kane Wommack at Eastern Illinois University and earned four letters from 2013-16.
• Started 23 games and appeared in 48 overall at linebacker.
• Named first-team all-conference as a senior, when he led the team with 99 tackles.
• Paced the team with 109 stops, 57 solo, as a junior.
• Graduated from Eastern Illinois with an exercise science degree in 2017.
