• Steven Ruzic is in his first season as Indiana’s assistant athletic director for football recruiting.

• Oversees all facets of the program’s player personnel and recruiting department.

• Leads the evaluation process and recruiting structure and strategy for the team.

• Named to the 247Sports 30Under30 and the On3 Rising Personnel & Recruiting Staffers lists in 2022.

• A nominee for the “Best in Recruiting” by The Athletic in 2021.

• Arrived in Bloomington after one year as director of player personnel at Auburn University, where the Tigers landed a Top 15 recruiting class.

• Assistant director of player personnel at the University of North Carolina in 2021.

• The Tar Heels secured the No. 9 recruiting class in the country, the top-rated class in school history.

• Spent the 2019 and 2020 campaigns as director of recruiting communications at the University of Minnesota.

• The Golden Gophers won their most single-season games since 1904 and earned an Outback Bowl championship in 2019.

• Helped Minnesota garnered its top two recruiting classes in its history.

• Head recruiting specialist at Ole Miss in 2018, and the assistant to the director of player personnel and a defensive analyst at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 2017.

• Chattanooga had the No. 1 ranked class in all of FCS and the defense finished in the Top 10.

• Kicked of his career as a defensive student assistant at Valdosta State University from Feb. 2010-Dec. 13.

• Ruzic was born and raised in Warner Robbins, Ga. His father was a high school football coach in Warner Robbins for 20 years.
