• Former Hoosiers linebacker Thomas Allen is in his second season at Indiana as a defensive graduate assistant.
• Redshirted the 2017 campaign and played in 32 games from 2018-21.
• Totaled 56 tackles, 36 solo, one sack, 3.5 for loss, one interception, and one forced fumble.
• Earned the team’s Ted Verlihay “Mental” Attitude Award and was Indiana’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree in 2021.
• A four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Allen graduated with a SPEA management degree in Aug. 2020, and he is currently enrolled in the Kelley School of Business MBA program.
• His father, Tom, is entering his seventh year as IU’s head football coach.
• Thomas and his wife, Annika, reside in Bloomington.
• Annika starred for the Hoosiers softball team from 2018-21. .
