Cooper started all 36 games during his time in Bloomington and recorded eight-or-more tackles 16 times. He wrapped up his career with 231 stops, 136 solo, with 5.5 sacks (41 yards), 18 tackles for loss (63 yards), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four pass breakups. Cooper graduated with a bachelor of liberal studies degree in December 2014.

2014 (Senior): Finished fourth on the team with 60 tackles, 34 solo, with three tackles for loss ... started all 12 games ... paced the team in tackles twice (Indiana State and Penn State) ... opened the season with eight stops and one TFL in the Indiana State win ... made nine tackles the following game at Bowling Green ... collected six stops and one tackle for loss at Michigan and against Penn State ... posted seven tackles vs. No. 8 Michigan State ... closed out his career with six stops, five solo, in the Purdue win ... netted six games with six-or-more tackles.
2013 (Junior): Moved from middle linebacker to the weak-side and started all 12 games ... led the team with 85 tackles, 52 solo, to go along with 2.5 sacks (15 yards), six tackles for loss (22 yards) and one fumble recovery ... tied for second on IU in TFLs and was third in sacks ... shared 13th in the Big Ten with 7.1 stops per game ... posted his third and fourth career double-digit tackle games in the Bowling Green win (half-TFL) and against Minnesota (one TFL) ... matched his career-high with 10 stops apiece ... reached eight tackles seven times ... collected a career-high two sacks and a team-high nine stops in the Purdue victory ... added nine tackles against Navy and Illinois (one TFL) and tied a career-best with eight solos in the win over the Fighting Illini ... tallied eight stops in victories over Indiana State and Penn State ... recovered his first career fumble at Michigan ... 2012 (Sophomore): Started all 12 games at middle linebacker ... finished second on the team with 86 tackles, 50 solo, with three sacks (26 yards), nine tackles for loss (36 yards), one forced fumble and three pass breakups ... tied for 15th in the Big Ten with 7.2 stops per game ... nine TFLs ranked third on the team ... made eight-or-more tackles in seven games, including two with 10 ... posted a career-high 10 stops and eight solos with one sack and one PBU against Wisconsin ... netted 10 tackles with one sack and a career-best three stops for loss in the win at Illinois ... collected eight tackles apiece in the win at Massachusetts (half-TFL), at Northwestern (one TFL), against Michigan State (one TFL, one PBU), at Navy (one forced fumble) and at Penn State (one sack) ... enrolled in spring classes and participated in practice.
