Everett graduated with a SPEA management degree in May 2019.
2019 Honors: Earned the team’s Ted Verlihay “Mental Attitude” Award.
2019 (Senior): Played in all 13 games at end ... made three solo stops with one quarterback hurry ... earned a scholarship for the 2019 season during fall camp.
2018 (Junior): Started all 11 games in which he appeared at end ... shared third on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss ... posted 23 tackles, 18 solos, a half-sack, one quarterback hurry and three pass breakups (T-2nd on the team) ... opened the year with four stops and a career-best two for loss in the win at Florida International (9/1) ... added one TFL in victories over Virginia (1 PBU, 9/8) and Maryland (3 tackles, 11/10) ... tallied four stops with a half for loss at Minnesota (10/26) ... netted a career-high five solos with one breakup and the QBH at No. 4 Michigan (11/17) ... closed out the year with three tackles, a half-sack and one PBU against Purdue (11/24) ... IU defensive player of the week (Michigan) ... earned a scholarship for the 2018 season during fall camp.
2017 (Sophomore): Made seven tackles, four solo, with a half-sack and one forced fumble in nine games ... forced the fumble and posted two stops in the season finale at Purdue (11/25) ... registered the half-sack with two tackles in the win at Illinois (11/11).
2016 (Freshman): Sat out the 2016 season due to NCAA transfer rules ... walk-on joined the program during 2016 spring practice ... two-time scout team player of the week (Northwestern, Penn State).
2015: Did not see any game action in 2015 at Western Illinois University.
Prep/Personal: Defensive lineman for head coach Eric Moore at Center Grove High School ... earned all-state and all-conference honors in 2014 ... team captain also selected to the Indianapolis Star Super Team ... posted 41 tackles, 10 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries ...
