Johnson graduated with a criminal justice degree in Dec. 2020. He closed out his career with 111 tackles, 63 solo, with 13.5 sacks (97 yards) and 21 tackles for loss (109 yards). Johnson added two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, one interception, four quarterback hurries and one blocked field goal in 45 games (29 starts).

2020 Honors: First-team All-Big Ten (media) ... second-team All-Big Ten (coaches) ... earned the team’s Chris Dal Sasso Award (Outstanding Lineman) for the third-straight season.

2020 (Senior): Became the first Indiana defensive tackle to earn first-team All-Big Ten honors since Hurvin McCormack (1993) ... made 18 tackles, 12 solo, four sacks (31 yards), 4.5 for loss (31 yards), one interception, one fumble recovery, one quarterback hurry and one blocked field goal ... shared eighth in the Big Ten in sacks ... led IU linemen in stops, sacks and TFLs ... started seven times and appeared in all eight games ... recovered a fumble in the season-opening win over No. 8 Penn State (10/24) ... set a career-high with two sacks and matched a career-high with 2.5 tackles for loss to go along with four stops in the victory at Michigan State (11/14) ... added four tackles with one sack and his first career interception at No. 3 Ohio State (11/21) ... IU defensive player of the week (Maryland).

2019 Honors: Earned the team’s Chris Dal Sasso Award (Outstanding Lineman).

2019 (Junior): Posted 43 tackles, 20 solo, five sacks (46 yards), 7.5 for loss (51 yards) and two quarterback hurries ... shared the team lead in sacks ... finished second in TFLs and fifth in stops ... led the defensive line in tackles and stops for loss, tied for first in sacks and shared second in solos ... started all 13 games at tackle ... over the final five contests, tallied 24 tackles, 11 solo, three sacks (31 yards), 5.5 TFLs (36 yards) and the two QBHs ... recorded one sack in each of the final three games and a tackle for loss in each of the final five ... made five stops and 1.5 sacks in the season-opening win vs. Ball State (8/31) ... added six tackles with a half-TFL at No. 9 Penn State (11/16) ... compiled a career-high seven stops with one sack and a pair of tackles for loss in the victory at Purdue (11/30) ... delivered six stops with one sack in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs. Tennessee (1/2) ... 2018 (Sophomore): Led the team with 3.5 sacks (20 yards) and shared third with 5.5 tackles for loss (23 yards) ... paced the D-line with 32 stops and 21 solos ... forced one fumble, recovered one fumble and added one quarterback hurry ... forced his first career fumble to go along with one sack and four tackles in the season-opening win at Florida International (9/1) ... registered five stops and a career-high four solos with one sack and two TFLs against Iowa (10/13) ... tallied five tackles with his first career fumble recovery in the Maryland victory (11/10) ... closed the year with five stops, four solo, 1.5 sacks and a career-best 2.5 tackles for loss against Purdue (11/24) ... IU defensive player of the week (Iowa).

2017 (Freshman): Posted 18 tackles, 10 solo, with one sack and 3.5 tackles for loss ... played in all 12 games ... collected four stops to go along with one TFL in the win at Virginia (9/9) ... netted 1.5 tackles for loss with three stops against No. 4 Wisconsin (11/4) ... tallied his first career sack at Maryland (10/28) ... made his collegiate debut in the season opener against No. 2 Ohio State (8/31).
