Brookins graduated with a community health degree in Aug. 2018. He finished his career with 242 yards on 41 attempts (5.9 average) with one touchdown in 44 games. Brookins made 30 receptions for 174 yards and returned 18 kickoffs for 289 yards.

2017 (Junior): Played in all 12 games ... rushed 11 times for 88 yards with one touchdown ... caught 19 passes for 124 yards ... led Indiana running backs in receptions and finished second in receiving yardage ... set career-highs in rushing yardage (71), long rush (64), catches (8) and receiving yardage (48) at Purdue (11/25) ...
