• Isaac Hicks is in his fifth season as director of performance nutrition at Indiana.
• Spent 2017-18 as director of sports nutrition at Liberty University.
• Owns over a decade of experience in the dietetics and nutrition industry. He is a Registered Dietitian (RDN), Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In 2020, Hicks was selected by Today’s Dietitian as one of the Top 10 Dietitians in the country you need to know about.
• Started his nutrition career in community health, where he was contracted to work with high school athletes and was the designated sports dietitian for counseling active patients.
• Member of the staff at Camp F.R.E.S.H. (Fresh Resources Everyone Should Have) for three years and later directed the summer camp for two years.
• Camp F.R.E.S.H. focused on adolescent health within an urban setting, promoting physical health and well-being through exercise, nutrition and expanding access to fresh, quality food.
• Earned his bachelor’s degree in dietetics with a concentration in sports nutrition from the University of Delaware in 2004.
• Played football at Delaware as a running back for the Blue Hens in 2001 and 2002.
• Isaac and his wife, Allie, reside in Bloomington with their four children: Isabella, Isaac IV, Elias, and Arielle.
