Martin started the final 37 games, 43 overall, and played in 50 career games at left guard. He is one of four Hoosiers to appear in 50 games. Martin was a 24-time game captain, a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, a three-time Academic All-District 5 team member and a two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten selection. He graduated with a criminal justice degree in Dec. 2018. Martin was selected in the fourth round (131st pick) of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.

Indiana ranked second in the Big Ten and shared 24th nationally in first downs per game (23.5) ... the Hoosiers finished third in the conference (36th nationally) in passing offense (257.8) and tied for sixth in passing touchdowns (20) ... IU offensive player of the week (Virginia) ... 12-time game captain.

2017 (Junior): Started all 12 games at left guard ... recorded the most pass blocking snaps (569) among guards nationally without allowing a sack ... Indiana finished third in the Big Ten (35th nationally) in passing offense (265.7), and sixth in scoring offense (26.8) and total offense (395.8) ... four-time IU offensive player of the game (Virginia, Charleston Southern, Wisconsin, Rutgers) ... 12-time game captain.

2016 Honors: CoSIDA Academic All-District 5 team member ... Academic All-Big Ten selection.

2016 (Sophomore): Started all 13 games at left guard ... Indiana ranked second in the Big Ten in passing offense (273.8) and third in total offense (426.0) ... Devine Redding became the fourth Hoosier to record back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and the first since Vaughn Dunbar (1990-91) ... on IU’s single-season list, Richard Lagow’s passing yardage (3,362) ranks second, attempts (438) third, and completions (253) and total offense (3,174) fourth.

2015 (Freshman): Started the first six games and appeared in all 13 at left guard ... Indiana finished first in the Big Ten in total offense, passing offense and scoring offense, while placing second in rushing offense ... the Hoosiers became the first team since Ohio State in 1995 to lead the league in total, passing and scoring offense ... IU led the conference in scoring offense for the first time since the Big Ten began using the entire season as the statistical champion in 1985 ... Indiana had not led the league in total offense since 1988 ... the Hoosiers became the fourth college football team to have a 3,500-yard passer, a pair of 1,000-yard running backs and a 1,000-yard receiver in the same year ... IU was one of only two Power Five conference teams with two 1,000-yard running backs (Baylor) ... the offensive line allowed 13 sacks, tied for the seventh-fewest nationally ... Indiana set single-season school records with 475 total points, 6,556 total yards, 3,820 passing yards, 337 first downs and 168 passing first downs.
