Shaw appeared in all 49 games with 24 starts in his career. He made 130 tackles, 84 solo, with nine sacks (63 yards), 25.5 tackles for loss (117 yards), two fumble recoveries and five pass breakups.

2015 Honors: Team captain … honorable mention All-Big Ten (coaches) … earned the Hoosier Iron Award (Outstanding Weight Room Performance).

2015 (Senior): Finished second on the team with 11.5 tackles for loss (50 yards) and tied for second with four sacks (21 yards) … was sixth on the team with 53 tackles, 37 solo, with four pass breakups … started all 13 games … paced the team and shared 10^th in the Big Ten with 9.5 TFLs in conference games only … recorded at least one stop for loss in nine of the last 10 games … set a career-high with two sacks and three tackles for loss to go along with six tackles at Penn State … carded a career-high seven stops and five solos, one for loss, in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Duke … collected four tackles with a half-sack and two TFLs at No. 7 Michigan State … had four stops, one for loss, and a career-high two PBUs against No. 10 Iowa … tallied three tackles, one for loss, and one pass breakup vs. No. 15 Michigan … made four stops with one sack in the win at Wake Forest … added four tackles in wins at Purdue (half-sack), at Maryland (1 TFL) against Western Kentucky and vs. Southern Illinois … IU defensive player of the week (Penn State) … seven-time game captain.

IU defensive player of the week (Penn State).

2013 (Sophomore): Started against Navy and in the Bowling Green win ... appeared in all 12 games ... posted 24 tackles, 13 solo, with 1.5 sacks (12 yards), 4.5 tackles for loss (20 yards) and one fumble recovery ... made six stops, 1.5 sacks and 2.5 TFLs against Missouri ... recorded five tackles against Navy ... recovered his first career fumble vs. BGSU.

2012 Honors: Earned a spot on the BTN.com All-Big Ten Freshman team.

2012 (Freshman): Moved from linebacker to defensive end during spring practice ... started nine times and played in all 12 games ... carded 29 tackles, 18 solo, with two sacks (20 yards) and five tackles for loss (31 yards) ... posted one sack, two TFLs and four solo stops against No. 8 Ohio State ... made four tackles with one sack in the Illinois win ... collected four stops with one tackle for loss against Wisconsin.
