Reggie Golson begins his second year with the men’s basketball program. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Golson comes to IU after completing a professional career overseas which began in 2006 and concluded in 2013.
His pro playing career took him to Germany, France, Australia, Japan and Luxemborg. He came to IU after serving as Director of Basketball Operations for Prairie Life Fitness in suburban Kansas City where he helped train basketball players, including the Utah Jazz Alec Burks. He played at Hutchinson Community College for one year and averaged 10.6 points and 2.5 rebounds. He then spent the next three years at Southeast Missouri State where he averaged 12.4 points and shot 54.3 percent in 53 career games.
As a senior for SEMO, he averaged 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds. He attended Blue Valley Northwest High School.
