Jake was a four year letter winner at Westfield High School outside of Indianapolis. He earned All-State first ream honors all four years. Cesare claimed four top-10 individual finishes at the IHSAA Boys State Finals, one of three players in state history to do so. He was also the individual state runner-up in ‘24. He helped lead the Shamrocks to runner-up results in 2022, ‘23, and ‘24 before capturing the 2025 state team title in historic fashion, winning by 30 strokes. The team set a state record two-day total of 568, and a single day final round record of 8-under. Cesare holds the all-time lowest scoring average at Westfield High School with a four-year average of 71.6. He is a two-time Indiana Golf Junior Player of the Year. In 2020, Jake was the youngest player ever to win a Golfweek Junior Championship overall title( 14 years, 3 days). He was a 2020 and 2022 Notah Begay National Championship qualifier. Cesare was the 2024 Hoosier Junior Champion. He also captured his first amateur win in 2024, becoming the youngest player ever to win the Golfweek Hoosier Amateur Championship (70-71-66). He was a two-time PGA Junior Championship qualifier, Dye Junior qualifier, and participated in the 2025 USGA Four Ball. Cesare owns over 50 career individual victories. His brother Alec is a junior on the Indiana University men’s golf team and his younger brother plays golf for the Westfield Shamrocks.
