2018-19 (SENIOR): Selected to the All-Big Ten First Team...Big Ten Athlete of the Week in January...23-11 overall record with a 13-7 dual mark, all at the No. 1 singles position...defeated two ranked opponents...won five doubles matches in dual play.

2017-18 (JUNIOR): Beat the country's fourth ranked player from Ohio State... went 7-3 in the fall and won 12 matches in dual play... held a 6-3 doubles record in the Big Ten and 10 wins overall.

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): 15-15 overall singles record... 6-4 tour singles record... went 6-2 at the three singles spot... notched a 8-7 record at two doubles.

2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Finished an impressive freshman season tied for second on the team in singles wins with a 19-11 overall record, including a 5-2 mark in Big Ten competition…13-6 record in in dual match play and 6-5 record in tournament play…went 4-1 in doubles action.

PREP: Played for Club Tenis Ávila in Spain...also played soccer.

PERSONAL: Born on April 21, 1997...major is Biotechnology...son of Ángel Cembellín Prieto and María Jesús Prieto Martínez...brother Andrés Cembellín Prieto is studying medicine in Hungary.
