In February 2011, Kercheval was named the head coach of the Bloomington High School South girl's tennis team. In four season with BHSS, he has led the team to an overall record of 52-20 and a perennial top 15 state ranking. Last spring, he coached his #1 singles player to an undefeated season culminating in winning the Indiana High School State Singles Championship.
Kercheval works full time at the Indiana University Tennis Center as the Adult Program Coordinator, having spent the last 7 years with the IUTC. He directs all clinics, leagues, tournaments and programming for the adult members as well as works with junior players. Also heavily involved with the United States Professional Tennis Association, Kercheval leads the initiative in the Midwest to recruit more teaching professionals under the age of 30 to get involved. In 2012, he was named USPTA Indiana Professional of the Year.
A graduate of Indiana University in 2010, Kercheval has a Management Degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
