Grayson Radcliffe joins the IU softball staff as a graduate assistant after spending four seasons on the Hoosier’s roster.
In her final season, Radcliffe Played and started in 40 games, scoring 16 runs scored with 34 hits, eight doubles, one triple, two home runs, 20 RBI and 11 stolen bases. She also had eight multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games. Radcliffe went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two stolen bases in win over Valparaiso on March 4 and 2-for-3 with a home run and three runs scored in the win over Hofstra on Feb 25.
She led the team in runs in 2019 (39) and 2020 (11), home runs in 2019 (9), 2020 (4) and 2021 (5) and RBI’s 2019 (34) and 2021 (25).
Radcliffe is a two-time All-Big Ten Honoree, three-time Academic All-Big Ten Honoree and three- time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Honoree. In 2021 she earned CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team Honors and NFCA All-Region Honors.
The Rockville, Va., native was also selected as an institutional nominee for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. This award recognizes the female student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves in their community, in athletics and in academics throughout their college careers.
She currently plays professional softball for the Florida Vibe, located in Bradenton, Fla.
Radcliffe has an undergraduate in Sports Marketing and Management is working towards a master’s degree in Kinesiology after she was awarded the Big Ten postgraduate scholarship.
