SENIOR YEAR (2021)

Emily Goodin was one of the best pitchers in the conference all season long. Goodin led the Big Ten in innings pitched at 198 and finished third in the conference in strikeouts with 173. Goodin became the sixth-player in program history to reach 500 career strikeouts and finished the season fourth on the Hoosiers all-time list with 583 career strikeouts. Following the Hoosiers series against Penn State, Goodin was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week. She pitched 19 innings with a 0.47 era and 18 strikeouts. Earlier in the season, against Michigan State, Goodin pitched 27 innings over four games without giving up an earned run and allowing just one extra base hit. In the final series of the season, Goodin tossed her third no-hitter of her career.

SENIOR YEAR (2020)
• Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 24)
Recorded a 1.76 ERA in 107.2 innings pitched, collecting 111 strikeouts and a 10-7 record … pitched 13 complete games during the season … earned double digit wins for the first time in her career … had nine games with at least six or more strikeouts including two games with double digits … tossed her second career no-hitter for Indiana on Feb. 21 against Bucknell, winning Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week for her accomplishment … registered 11 strikeouts on Feb. 22 against NC State … registered a career high 14 strikeouts against Miami (OH) on March 10.

JUNIOR YEAR (2019)
Fanned a career-best 129 batters … finished the year with seven wins and a 2.41 ERA in 107.1 IP … had 12 games with six or more punchouts … earned a save in the season opener against Virginia, tossing 2.0 hitless frames … took the win against Syracuse on Feb. 15 and again on Feb. 17 … struck out a career-high 11 batters in her win against NC A&T on Feb. 23 … tied that career high with 11 Ks against Furman on March 10 … tossed a complete game shutout at FGCU on March 12, striking out eight … also threw a complete game in IU win against Michigan State on March 31, striking out six Spartans … tossed 1.2 hitless innings in relief against Rutgers on April 27, fanning three to get the win … earned her second save of the year against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament on May 9, as she didn’t allow a single baserunner in the final 3.0 innings

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2018)
Notched a 2.24 ERA in 109.1 innings pitched, collecting 101 strikeouts and a 7-5 record … got the win against Delaware State on March 3 as she went 4.1 scoreless innings in relief, allowing just three hits and striking out seven … earned her first career save against Illinois State on March 9 as she retired two of the three batters she saw … collected the victory against UIC on March 18, going 3.2 scoreless frames in relief and allowing just one hit … tossed a complete game victory against Ohio State on March 23, surrendering just two hits and fanning seven … earned a win in her third straight appearance on March 30 as she went 5.2 frames at Michigan State, allowing just one run and striking out six … tossed 5.0 innings in her start at Maryland on April 14, collecting the victory … went 4.0 innings in Indiana’s game two win against Purdue, surrendering just one earned run … took the victory in the regular season victory at Rutgers as she came in with a 3-3 tie in the sixth and retired the next five batters faced

FRESHMAN YEAR (2017)
• Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Feb. 27 and March 13)
Made 29 appearances and tossed 96.1 innings with an 8-5 record and a 3.85 ERA … started eight contests with three complete games … earned her first collegiate win against Seattle on Feb. 10 as she tossed 5.1 innings in relief, allowing just one run on three hits … tossed a no-hitter against UAB on Feb. 24, allowing just one baserunner via a walk and striking out five in 7.0 innings … earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolades on Feb. 27 after the no-hitter and a 3-1 record in the Samford/UAB Tournament … tossed 8.0 shutout innings against Western Illinois on March 10 as she allowed just one hit and struck out eight batters in IU’s 1-0 win … picked up victories against Lipscomb on March 10 and Oakland on March 11 on her way to her second Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolade as she went 3-0 in the UofM Softball Tournament, tossing 15.1 total scoreless innings with 21 strikeouts … set a career high with 10 strikeouts against Oakland on March 11 … earned the win against Bowling Green on March 19 as she tossed 4.1 scoreless innings in IU’s 1-0 victory

Graduated high school in December and enrolled at Indiana in January 2017 ... two-time Evansville Courier and Press All-Metro Player of the Year selection ... led Evansville Mater Dei to its first State Championship in school history last year, tossing 165 innings with a 0.72 ERA. Her 306 strikeouts in 2016 led the state of Indiana and she finished the year with three no-hitters, as well as a perfect game ... named a 2016 Max Preps Second Team All-American for Small High Schools and has twice been awarded All-State and All-Conference honors ... most recently played travelball for Indiana Dreams, leading the team to a 2016 appearance at PGF Premier Nationals ... daughter of Benjamin and Julie ... has one sister, Allie and a brother, Ethan
