Brianna Copeland

One of the best players in program history, Copeland returned to serve on her alma mater’s staff in the fall of 2025.
Following graduation, she helped the Atlanta Smoke win the 2025 Women’s Professional Fastpitch Championship (WPF).
In her IU career, she helped elevate the program to three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2023-25.
Copeland was a two-time NFCA All-American (2023 & 2025) and a three-time NFCA All-Region honoree (2023-2025) for her outstanding play as an elite utility player.
She was also named to the Big Ten’s All-Tournament Team in three-straight years (2023-25). She helped the Hoosiers reach back-to-back Big Ten Tournament Final appearances (2023-24).
Copeland also excelled in the classroom, being a three-time Academic All-Big Ten award winner and was given the Big Ten Medal of Honor for the 2024-25 school year.
