Opened the season with a third-place finish in the 600 meters and fourth-place in the 4x400 relay at the Indiana Early Bird Meet … ran a lifetime best in the 1,000 meters (2:26.44) and finished seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.53 at the Commodore Challenge … earned a victory for the Hoosiers in the 4x100 relay in a time of 3:14.84 and placed third in the 800 meters (1:51.82) at the Indiana Invitational … contested the mile at Boston University’s John Thomas Terrier Classic … placed 12^th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.43 at the Badger’s Windy City Invite … contested the 600 meters and ran a leg of the 4x400 relay at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

Academic All-Big Ten honoree ... received the chance to compete in the steeplechase at Big Ten Championships … set a personal record in the 5000 meters at Raleigh Relays with a time of 14:39.76 … saw a personal best in the steeplechase after going 9:06.36 for seventh at Florida Relays … competed in the steeplechase championship at Penn Relays.
