Academic All-Big Ten honoree … opened the season in the discus (43.92m/144-1) and hammer throw (48.38m/158-9) at the Raleigh Relays … finished fifth in the hammer at Ball State’s We Fly Challenge with a throw of 53.22m/171-4 … earned new season-bests in the discus (44.45m/145-10) and hammer throw (55.28m/181-4) at the Jim Green Invitational … finished second in the hammer with a throw of 57.74m/189-5 and fourth in the discus after recording a mark of 48.31m/158-6 at the Sycamore Open … recorded a lifetime best in the discus (49.77m/163-3) and hammer (57.62m/189-0) at the Billy Hayes Invitational … saw a lifetime best mark of 58.02m/190-4 in the hammer throw to finish 18^th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships and finished 21^st in the discus (48.50m/159-1).
