Erin McKinney is in her fifth year as video coordinator with Indiana Women’s Basketball in 2018-19.
McKinney oversees all aspects of the team’s scout video operation including production and breakdown. In addition to her role at IU, McKinney spent the offseason from 2015-17 with the WNBA’s Seattle Storm as the manager of video and equipment. She was responsible for all aspects of video and equipment while assisting with scouting. She also spent the summer of 2014 as an intern in the same capacity with the organization.
Prior to beginning her stint in Seattle, McKinney was a graduate assistant for two years at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. During her time with the Warhawks, the program held a 53-12 record in two seasons, winning a conference championship in both season and finishing runner-up (2013) and third (2014) in NCAA Division III. She graduated from Whitewater with a master’s of science in education in professional development with an emphasis in health, human performance and recreation.
McKinney, a native of Springdale, Ark., earned her undergraduate degree in allied health in 2012 from Hendrix College in Conway, Ark. and graduated Har-Ben High School.
