FRESHMAN YEAR (1987-88)
Kathy Blair missed the last half of her first season due to a knee injury. Up until that time she had performed well off the bench. In a game against nationally ranked Ohio State, Kathy scored 10 points in 19 minutes and chipped in three rebounds and two assists. Kathy has recovered from her injury and Coach Izard will look to utilize Kathy's quickness in fast break situations.

PREP
High School-Kathy is an all-around athlete who played in all positions for her high school team. Her senior season, Kathy averaged 13.3 points and 8 rebounds a game.She was selected St. Louis Park's MVP and all-conference. She was named to the coaches all-metro team, coaches all-state team and MVP of the Minnesota all-star game. Her high school coach was Phil Frerk.

Kathy is a physical education major at Indiana. Her mother is Carolyn Blair Smith and she was born Nov. 4, 1968.
