JUNIOR YEAR (1980-1981)

SOPHOMORE YEAR (1979-1980)
After promising much in her first season with the Hoosiers, Burroughs came through in 1979-80 at the point guard position. Bettering the I.U. record she set in '78-79, she lead the team in assists with 206. Her quick hands gained for her the season's most steals with 90. These statistics are good enough to rank her with the nation's best: 2nd nationally in assists and 7th in steals.

Traveling all the way from Georgia, Lori Burroughs arrived at Indiana as a High School All-Stater and All-American coached at Marrow Senior H.S. by A.C. McCullers. Not only a leader on the hardwood, she also served as Student Council President there.
